Date at Sunset

Orange, pink, and gray

Oh, what a beautiful day
Next to you at the river

Someone’s fulfilled our order
Shall we go for a stroll?

Or eat a noodle bowl?
With with you I am blessed

I could have never guessed
Our lifetime awaits

With more beautiful dates

Solace

The sun rises with your smile
Holding you longer a little while
In my dreams your laugh echoes

All while you play with your Duplos
Bright light in a chaotic world

Next to you I am curled
Fiercely protective of you I am

Mama bear to my little lamb
All my hopes and dreams for you

Spectacular, if you only knew
But for now, nap your little nap

(Wish I could freeze time with a snap)
For soon, you’ll be a tall, handsome chap

And I’ll be a little, old sap.

Little Red Riding

c

A cute senorita
Followed by a cheetah
Let me count the ways
For issuing tickets pays
A bonus to us cops
And plus, a feel I may cop
To unsuspecting lambs
You know, it’s all a scam
Just doin’ my job, ‘mam
As if I give a damn
Lets hope there’s no camera phone
To catch misbehaving, as we’re prone
But first let me take a bite
For no one can see your plight

Little Piggy

bloodyfingers
This little piggy went to market
Damn, this girl has spirit

This little piggy stayed home
Found her as I did my roam

This little piggy had roast beef
Told her the pain would be brief

This little piggy had none
Ravishing her was fun

This little piggy went
Still smell her blood’s scent

Wee, wee, wee
On to my next killing spree

All the way home
Smiling at her mouth’s foam

New Facebook Page

fb

Finally, I created a Facebook page for this site (please “like” and/or “recommend” my page so that I may beef up my online presence!!!).  Part of the reason I did this was because I think some of my friends and family were tired of seeing my (at times) creepy poems on my personal page (which, clearly, are not “family-friendly” and some of my [personal] Facebook friends happen to be children).  And also so that I can post little tidbits that I don’t post on this site (such as articles on writing, etc.).  As you know, I do write children’s poems and stories but, this way (with this new Facebook page), I don’t feel like I need to censor my words.  So, thanks in advance!

Lights

edwardhopper
It’s half past nine
Time for you to shine

I sit here waiting
For you anticipating

There you are
So close yet so far

Every night
My eyes burn bright

Always yearning for
A knock on your door

The touch of your skin
For me a wide grin

A pull of your hair
Not just an affair

Taking your body
Like there’s nobody

Feeling your breath
A thousand sweet deaths

Perhaps one day
I’ll come out and play

And take a few bites
Under your lights

Identity Thief

georgegrosz
I’m an identity thief
There are no rules
That is my belief

“Be all that you can be”
Stealing crown jewels
Or sipping chamomile tea

Man, woman, or child
With my pen
My imagination runs wild

Sinner and/or saint
In my works
There are no restraints

My life as a writer
Troops of characters
Or single freedom fighter
