Short story

Little Red Riding

c

A cute senorita
Followed by a cheetah
Let me count the ways
For issuing tickets pays
A bonus to us cops
And plus, a feel I may cop
To unsuspecting lambs
You know, it’s all a scam
Just doin’ my job, ‘mam
As if I give a damn
Lets hope there’s no camera phone
To catch misbehaving, as we’re prone
But first let me take a bite
For no one can see your plight

Little Piggy

bloodyfingers
This little piggy went to market
Damn, this girl has spirit

This little piggy stayed home
Found her as I did my roam

This little piggy had roast beef
Told her the pain would be brief

This little piggy had none
Ravishing her was fun

This little piggy went
Still smell her blood’s scent

Wee, wee, wee
On to my next killing spree

All the way home
Smiling at her mouth’s foam

Boy

klimtpregnant
Who are you
I say and coo

Hopes and dreams
Your father and I beam

Smiles for miles
As I pick onesie styles

Will you turn out to be
More like him or like me

May you grow old
And have a heart of gold

Marry the one
Whom you love a ton

Have children of your own
Be there when they’re grown

And look back with joy
As you read to your son’s boy

But until then
You’ll be ours and when

You come out of my womb
And, again, love will bloom

Oh, how very proud
I say out loud

To be your mother
As we wait for one another

Cinderella

citygirl
Once upon a time
In a city’s grime

There lived a girl
Newly formed pearl

She worked her way
Every single day

Among shysters and crooks
All with their hooks

Lured by tricksters and thieves
For years of blinding eves

No end in sight
Her long and arduous plight

Fallen on empty hopes and dreams
Cinderella ran out of steam

But then one day
Amidst the fray

A fine young prince
Presented a quince

Love bloomed like a rose
And then he proposed

Made her his queen
Two hearts evergreen

There was bliss thereafter
And they lived happily ever after

Naughty or Nice

santa

“Have you been naughty or nice?”

I wake up to see a smile full of sharp, yellow teeth.  He’s standing at the foot of the bed with an axe covered in blood.  With a gasp, I bolt toward the door.  His long nails claw my hair as I run, almost tripping on the hardwood floor.  My heart pounds as I sprint toward the stairway.  If only I can make it downstairs.

“Have you been naughty or nice?”  His voice is close and I can smell his rotting breath behind me.  SLAM.  The axe crashes into the wall within an inch from my right ear.  The stairs seem a mile long.  Instead of taking one step at a time, I can take two or maybe even three.  I have to.  But would I make it?  I take a deep breath and jump over as many as I can.  I need to fly.

The monster’s talons grab a hold of my left shoulder.  I fall back on a step and tumble down the remaining flight of stairs.  The back of my head hits the bottom of the staircase.  Lying there with my head throbbing, I see large eyes and a wide bear trap smile.

“Have you been naughty or nice?” he purrs as he raises the axe.
